Kevin Pietersen back in England T20 World Cup Semifinal

Kevin Pietersen returns to the team for the World Twenty20 semi-final against Sri Lanka after flying back to England to be present for the birth of his son. The batsman is expected to arrive back in the Caribbean today and will have less than 24 hours to prepare for the match against the Sri Lankans. However, he has been in impressive form lately and is expected to be a key figure for England.

Ravi Bopara, who filled in at No3 for the win over New Zealand as England claimed top spot in Group E, drops out of the team. England today completed their preparations for tomorrow’s semi-final with an intensive practice session at Beausejour Stadium.
