Monday Night Matchup

On the road – 2-1 SU and 1-2 ATS
Overall – 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS

Last week Indianapolis fell behind 27-0 to the New Orleans Saints. The Colts were able to battle back to make the final score a bit more respectable, but lost 27-21 and were dominated for most of the first three quarters of the game. The Colts allowed 183 yards against one of the league’s worst running attacks.
Quarterback Andrew Luck injured his shoulder earlier in the season, which is still be affecting his play, but his decision making is what is hurting the Colts at this point.
Luck and his fellow Colts will be facing one of the league’s top defenses. The Panthers likely have the best in the NFC. Josh Norman is one of the best corners in football, Kawann Short cannot be blocked at this point and Thomas Davis and Luke Kuechly are the best one-two linebackers in football.
On offense, Carolina leads the NFL in rushing with Jonathan Stewart looking his best the past two weeks. Quarterback Cam Newton has great read option ability and his scrambling skills are the best the NFL has.
Carolina’s defense should frustrate the mediocre Colts offense all night. The rushing game, and when needed the passing game for the Panthers, should be enough to keep them in control of this game.
The UNDER has cashed in 4 of the past 5 games between the two teams.
Indianapolis is 1-4 against the number in its past 5 games versus Carolina.
The visiting team has covered the spread in each of the past 4 games between the two teams.
