NFL Week 5: Cardinals vs 49ers live stream & How to watch Online

This Week 5 matchup features two quarterbacks who started the season on their team’s bench. Josh Rosen took over for an ineffective Sam Bradford, while CJ Beathard stepped in for the injured Jimmy Garoppolo.

Both replacements played well in their Week 4 starting debut, but neither could pull out a victory. Barring another tie, someone has to break through with a win Sunday.

CJ Beathard fell just short of 300 yards in his game, hitting for 2 touchdowns. One of them was an 82-yarder to his old college roommate, George Kittle.

He also took some big hits while extending plays. He rushed 9 times for 19 yards, including one run that left him on the ground. Fortunately for Beathard and the 49ers, he just had the wind knocked out of him. He came back for the next series.

Beathard got the ball for a bunch of starts last season, too. He looked confident and ready to manage the offense the rest of the season.

Josh Rosen does not lack confidence, either. Cardinals fans saw why Bradford and many others said Rosen could have started the season opener.

His stat line was unremarkable, including his 15 completions in 27 attempts. But there were at least 4 drops, two of which could have gone for touchdowns. Larry Fitzgerald accounted for two of the drops, something not likely to be repeated in our lifetime. It merits confidence in the young Mr. Rosen going forward.

Both quarterbacks displayed arm strength and wound up with respectable passer ratings just under 90.

Arizona and San Francisco each have running games that warrant respect but haven’t truly clicked yet. They also have defenses with holes, although the Cardinals’ unit gets a slight nod over the 49ers.

It should be interesting to see who steps up in Week 5.

How to watch the 49ers-Cardinals game

Most of Arizona’s cable and satellite viewers will join central and northern California watching this game over the Fox network.

But for those of us savvy enough to do away with expensive cable and satellite contracts, Fubo TV will provide the live stream NFL action this weekend.

Fubo will send the original Fox Sports broadcast without delay or dubbing to any internet-connected device you might own.

With a high-quality picture and sound, plus dozens of other entertainment venues to choose from, there is no reason to continue paying cable and satellite providers their outrageous rates.

DirecTV Now, Sling, YouTube TV, and PlayStation Vue are just some of the other internet television providers who let you watch live stream NFL action.

Each provider offers low monthly subscription rates with no contract and no expensive equipment required. They also have a free trial period, so you can test drive what they want you to pay for.

Check out their websites to see what they offer to your neighborhood.

Who will win the 49ers-Cardinals game?

Both quarterbacks impressed enough in Week 4 to offer their fans hope for some success in 2018. But only one of them can lead their team to success this week.

San Francisco has the better situation, with the more experienced passer and established receivers.

Arizona’s Rosen has the stronger arm and Larry Fitzgerald. David Johnson is showing signs of getting back into the flow of things, too. That can’t be bad.

Look for Rosen to shrug off last week’s drops and disappointing finish to give Cardinal fans the best week they’ve had so far this season. Final score: Cardinals 23, 49ers 21
