Report: Chelsea’s Eden Hazard Wants Out, Bayern, PSG, Real Interested

This season has seen a dramatic collapse in the play of Eden Hazard for Chelsea in the English Premier League, which could see him exit England.

Hazard, who is just 25, has not scored a goal in any of his 27 outings for the Blues across all their competitions. His poor form has also coincided with Chelsea’s battling to stay out of the relegation zone instead of fighting for a league championship and Champions League qualifying.

A local daily in London has reported that Hazard made it clear to his good friends that he wants to leave Chelsea and Stamford Bridge during the summer. That alerted both soccer giants Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid to the possibility of signing the start from Belgium.

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are rumored to be interested in his services, but Chelsea wants a minimum of about $131 million for the star, which is just less than a world record fee for a transfer.

PSG believe they could bring the Belgian star back to Ligue 1 as the player made a name for himself while playing in the topflight league in France with Lille before leaving to play in the Premier League.

However, another serious contender for Hazard’s services would be Real Madrid. He would be an excellent signing for Zinedine Zidane the new manager of Real, who has heaped loads of praise in the past on the Belgian star.

Bayern might be a long shot to land the player with Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery nearing the ends of their great careers with the giants of Germany and that might make the club want to bring in a high-profile winger to make up for the two possibly leaving the club.

It is true that Hazard, as recently as February of last year signed a new deal with Chelsea for five years but after that it is believed he and his former manager Jose Mourinho had a falling out, and the Belgian star wants to make a fresh start somewhere else.

He wants to keep playing as well in the Champions League and with his current club Chelsea sitting in 14th place and 13 points adrift of the top four, it looks unlikely the Blues will be playing against the elite of Europe next campaign.
